What we collect
- Quote inputs: name, email, phone, address, ZIP, property details, vehicle details, business details, and similar info you provide on a quote form.
- Communication content: messages, voicemails, and call recordings when you contact us.
- Tracking: click identifiers (gclid, gbraid, wbraid, msclkid), UTM parameters, page path, and IP address used to attribute marketing.
- Underwriting: when you proceed with a quote, carriers may pull MVR, credit-based insurance score, CLUE / loss-history reports, and similar data via their licensed channels.
How we use it
- Generate insurance quotes from carriers we represent.
- Contact you about your quote and follow up on your request.
- Service active policies (claims, billing, endorsements, renewals).
- Comply with insurance regulations and tax / audit requirements.
- Improve the Harvest site, ad targeting, and customer experience.
Who we share it with
We share quote details with the insurance carriers you've asked us to compare, our underwriting partners, and service providers (e.g., e-signature, hosting, call recording, document storage) under written confidentiality terms. We do not sell your personal information.
Mobile opt-in & SMS consent data are never shared with third parties for their marketing purposes.
SMS & TCPA notice
By submitting a Harvest form or calling us, you consent to receive calls and text messages from Harvest Insurance Agency about quote follow-up, appointments, policy service, claims, billing, and related insurance services. Calls and texts may use automated technology, prerecorded or artificial voice, or AI-assisted voice/text tools when useful and relevant to your request or service needs. Consent is not required to purchase coverage. You can revoke consent any time by replying STOP to a message or by contacting us. Revoking SMS consent does not affect your underlying policy.
Cookies & analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics (Google Analytics 4 and PostHog), tag management (Google Tag Manager), ad attribution (Google Ads, Microsoft Ads), session recordings, and heatmaps that help us understand where visitors click, scroll, and get stuck. Sensitive insurance form fields are masked in recordings. You can opt out of behavioral advertising via your browser, ad-preference settings, or industry tools like the DAA WebChoices opt-out.
Your choices & opt-out
- Stop calls or texts — reply STOP to any text, or ask the agent on the call to remove your number from outbound contact lists.
- Access or correct your data — email or call us; we'll respond within 30 days.
- Delete your data — we'll delete personal data unless we're required to keep it for compliance, an open quote, or an active policy.
Retention
Quote records: 24 months unless converted to a policy. Policy records: per state retention rules (typically 5–7 years post-cancellation). Call recordings: 12 months unless flagged for compliance review.
